Based on the required size and level of detail, FARO offers different hardware options to meet measurement needs and budget constraints. In precision applications it is best to hard probe alignment features and geometries while lower accuracy, complex surfaces and large parts can be completely digitized with a non-contact laser line probe, hand held scanner, 8-Axis or laser scanner.

FARO RevEng Capture and Geomagic software solutions can then create models for quick and accurate changes downstream and confirm your model to the original scan data to verify design intent.
